Roopa Popat qualified from The University of Manchester in 2003, graduating as top dentist that year. She has been presented with a number of prestigious dental awards including the Charles Preston Prize and Medal, the Farrar Prize in Prosthetics, the British Society of Periodontology Frank Ashley Prize, the British Society of Paediatric Dentistry Elective Prize and the BDA Prize.
Having graduated she started vocational training in Haringey, London. She then worked in general practice in Welwyn Garden City, joining Cuffley and Ware Dental Care in 2005. During this time she worked at Cuffley on Saturdays and also provided holiday cover before she decided to work exclusively at Cuffley in 2009.
Roopa is also a member of the British Dental Association. Her interests lie with crown and bridge work as well as dentures. Roopa also is our own in house Inman Aligner Certified Expert.
Roopa enjoys travelling and reading. She has recently travelled to China, Ecuador, Galapagos Islands and India. Whilst in India she spent some time promoting oral hygiene and health to schools in the villages.
